This environment was created as part of the "Complete Introduction to Environment Art" course by FastTrack Tutorials. The project guided me through the full production pipeline of a game-ready 3D environment, covering everything from initial blockout to final lighting and presentation.
Throughout the process, I worked with a wide range of industry-standard tools including 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 5, Substance 3D Designer, Substance 3D Painter, ZBrush, SpeedTree, Marmoset Toolbag 4, and Photoshop. While the environment closely follows the tutorial structure, I introduced a few minor adjustments to further refine the composition and lighting based on my own artistic judgment.
Key focus areas included:
Modular asset creation and high-to-low poly workflows
Procedural and hand-painted texturing techniques
UV unwrapping, baking, and material blending
Scene composition, lighting, and atmosphere building
Foliage generation with SpeedTree
This project served as a deep dive into environment production, allowing me to gain practical experience with the complete environment art workflow.
